Hoboken Hockey Forfeit Rule

A game will be forfeited by a team 10 minutes after the posted start time if they do not have 4 players (including a goalie)DRESSED AND ON THE RINK READY TO PLAY.   If the non-forfeiting team wishes to negate the forfeit, The game clock will start 10 minutes after the posted start time, and the non-forfeiting team will be awarded a goal for every five minutes of playing tine that the forfeiting team is not ready to play.   No game play shall start after 30 minutes from the posted start time.

Hoboken Hockey Pickup Rule:

During the regular season, any team that has at least 4 rostered players (including the goalie) may pick up up to a total of  6 skaters.  All pickups have to be approved by a league commissioner.   If both teams need pickups, Neither team shall have more skaters than the other team.   During the playoffs, pickup of skaters is not allowed.

Goalies may be picked up for any game, providing the team has 4 rostered players present.    However, if a team has 8 or more rostered skaters present, a player of that team must dress as a goalie.   The forfeit rule (above) will be enforced during goalie dressing.  However, a team may start with 5 skaters while a goalie dresses.
